Tyson Adams, a junior at West Forsyth High in North Carolina, won the men's long jump with a first-round leap of 24-2.50 (7.38m) and placed second in the triple jump with a third-round effort of 42-3.25 (12.88m) at the Camel City Invitational at JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C. Adams is scheduled to compete at the North Carolina indoor state meet Feb. 12 at the same venue.
