It was the first of two conference championship weekendds for the Lancer Alumni, but First a follow up from last week.  D.J. Smithers' performance at the Biola Invitational was enough to earn him a spot at the DIII West Regionals in Oregon later this month.  See the attached Article.

 
On Saturday, Evan Hillman ('09) of Occidential competed in the SCIAC Championships.  Evan completed the 8k course in 29:40 for 76th place. (Results)

Then at the Big West Conference Championships at UC Riverside, Andrew Snyder ('09) placed 48th for his UCI team in a time of 26:00 for 8k. (Results) 

  
Finally, Allie Lopez ('09) competed in the big Pac 10 Championship hosted by the University of Washington.  Allie placed 79th in 22:43 for 6k. (Results) 

Next week there will be more conference championship action, highlighted by Sean Gildea's Colorado School of Mines team who will compete at the RMAC Championships.
