Billy Emerson a senior, has been named the Centennial Conference Men s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 30-Dec. 2.

McDaniel won a pair of events in season-opening action at the Diplomat Open hosted by Franklin & Marshall. Billy Emerson won the shot put with a personal-best throw of 15.72 meters.

A pair of freshmen recorded conference qualifiers in their debuts to lead McDaniel at the non-scoring Diplomat Open hosted by Franklin & Marshall. Samantha Merkel turned in a sixth-place finish in the 1000 with a personal-best time of 3:23.05.

Taylor Bauman, a senior on the volleyball team, was named the Centennial Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year in her sport. Bauman was one of 45 Green Terror fall student-athletes named to the CC Fall Academic Honor Roll.

McDaniel finished sixth out of 11 teams with 125 points in its first-ever trip to the ECAC championship meet. Gavin Gibson won the individual title on a sloppy course with a time of 29:35.8.
