Khaleb McRae, a senior at Alabama, finished second in his 400-meter semifinal race in 45.59 seconds to advance to the final at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials at Hayward Field in Oregon.

Doris Lemngole from Alabama ran a new collegiate record time of 9:15.24 to win the 3,000-meter steeplechase and knocked off the defending champion, Olivia Markezich of Notre Dame, at the NCAA Outdoor Championships at Hayward Field. 

Alabama's Samuel Ogazi finished second in the men's 400 meters final on Friday at the NCAA D1 Outdoor Championships in a personal best time of 44.52 seconds. The performance moved Ogazi, a Nigerian, to No. 6 on the all-time World U20 list.
