Alex Alvarez, a senior at La Salle High in California, won the Division 4 boys varsity yellow race at the 74th Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational Presented by Nike in Walnut, Calif. Alvarez covered the 2.93-mile layout in 15:38, following his Division 4 victory last season in 15:35.
