I am a Thousand Oaks High School alumni. I graduated in 1981. I ran track and cross country and was part of the 1981 CIF Southern Section cross country Championship team. In track and field I had a best of 4:13 in 1981 and made it to the state meet that year although I did not fair well in the final. 4:13 was unfortunately also not good enough to be the school record (Thanks a lot Steve! (Steve Fairman) but my experience there will always be cherished.

I still live in the county but in Simi Valley. In 1999 and 2000 I assisted Robert Radnoti in cross country for Thousand Oaks but my job did not allow me to get more involved as I would have loved to.

I got married in 1990 to my beautiful wife Cheryl and we had my first daughter in 1992 and our second daughter in 1995. that daughter runs for Royal High School in Simi Valley today (as of summer of 2012). Reena will be a senior this year.

I have not ever been able to coach but have nutured another passion - taking action photos. It has always been difficult to sit still while watching my daughters compete (Amanda played volleyball) and so taking pictures was a good release for pent up energy.
