Tim Ives has been coaching for 12 years, all as the head boys cross country and distance coach at Dowling Catholic High School in Iowa. Over the past 8 seasons his team has won 5 state championships in cross country. The Maroons have also won the Roy Griak Invitational twice and are the only boys team from Iowa to qualify for NXN. Coach Ives has coached two individual cross country state champions and has had seven different boys run 4:21 or better for the 1600m, including Ryan Schweizer who finished third in the Adidas Dream Mile and holds PR's of 4:05 and 1:50. Timothy is a small business owner, personal trainer and private running coach with The Body Project, Inc. He has 15 years of experience in the fitness industry and is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist with the NSCA and a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise.
