Leon McKenzie has coached for 44 years, 34 of that at Benson High School, in Portland, Oregon.  During that time he has been selected as Coach of the Year 15 times and 2 times Regional / National Coach of the Year.  Benson teams have won 11 OSAA State Championships under his tutelage and finished runner up 8 times.
