Capistrano Valley CA senior Carly Corsinita clocked 16:55.1 to win the girls 3-mile varsity race at the South Coast League finals at Irvine Regional Park in Orange, Calif. Corsinita, who took second last season, became the second Capistrano Valley athlete to capture the title in three years, following Haley Herberg in 2017, helping the Cougars place fourth with 82 points.
