Justin Robinson, representing Arizona State, won his qualifying heat of the men's 400 meters in 45.22 seconds at the Toyota USATF Outdoor Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Robinson, the reigning U.S. indoor 400 champion, ran the fifth-fastest time overall to advance to the semifinals.
