Yazmeen Brown, who recently completed her sophomore year at Milwaukie High and is the reigning Oregon Class 5A state champion, added a title in the girls 15-16 division discus throw with a fifth-round performance of 137-5 (41.89m) at the USATF National Junior Olympic Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Brown produced a throw of 140-3 (42.76m) to secure the Oregon 5A crown May 27 at Hayward Field.
