Oaks Christian's Lauren Rain Williams won two events at the Southern Section finals at Cerritos College, repeating as Division 4 champion with wind-aided efforts in the 100 (11.17) and 200 (22.44). Her 200 mark is the third-fastest ever by a prep female under all conditions, joining Olympian Allyson Felix and Candace Hill. Williams also ran the opening leg of the Lions' 4x100 relay, which finished fourth (49.97).
