Mo Farah To Race Great Manchester Run 10k in May

Mo Farah will run the Great Manchester Run 10K in May next year according to Fast Running.

Farah is making the transition to the roads, having run his final races on the track this past summer. He is scheduled race the Virgin Money London Marathon in late April.

The Great Manchester Run 10K is four weeks later, making for a fast turn around from what will be Farah's second marathon.

Last year, Dathan Ritzenhein won the Great Manchester Run 10K in 28:06. Bernard Lagat made it a one-two finish for the U.S., finishing second in 28:13.
